¿Niños, niñas y adolescentes «de la calle», «en la calle», o «en situación de calle»? Una aproximación conceptual
Abstract
This article is part of the research project «The role of local and international actors in the design of public policies to mitigate the situation of children living on the streets in the city of Salta». The aim of the paper is to analyze the different labels given to the subjects of this social problem in the specialized literature by the people and institutions devoted to this study as well as by those who design and implement public policies regarding this problem. In so doing, this paper seeks to contribute to the research with a precise, clear and adequate conceptual framework to the problem that arises from the existence of a multiplicity of labels. The analysis will focus on Latin America, the Anglo-Saxon world and the terminology used by the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF).
